A Student is expected to be regular in attending school. It is
compulsory for all students to put in atleast 75% attendance before every assessment. C.B.S.E. guidelines will
be followed strictly. A student with less then 75% attendance will be debarred from appearing in the
assessments as well as from being promoted to next class.
In case of shortage of attendance, a student will not be eligible
for any academic award too.
- No student shall be absent from the school without obtaining prior sanction of leave. Parents should send
the leave application to the class teacher well in advance.
- If a student fails to come to School on a particular day due to sudden illness or an urgent and unforeseen
circumstances, the parent should inform the class teacher that day itself. In such cases, the leave
application should be sent, the next day.
- If the leave is due to illness for a period exceeding three days, a Medical Certificate from the
authorized doctor should reach to school along with the leave application. If needed, the case may be
referred to the Medical Board of the school.
- If a student gets absent from School without intimation/permission for more than one month, his/her name
will be struck off the rolls. Re-admission might be granted at the discretion of the Principal only on the
payment of a fresh admission fee.
- Students are entitled upto a maximum of three days leave and that too for serious reasons and with prior
information.
- Students face the penalty of getting their marks deducted
- If they absent themselves from celebration of National festivals.
- If they absent themselves in order to prepare when assessments are approaching.
- The absence of a student from school for a valid reason will be considered upto maximum period of one
month only and that too with prior sanction by the school.
- All students are expected to attend school on the LAST WORKING DAY prior to vacation, as well as on the
RE-OPENING DAY after vacation.
- A student returning to school after suffering from an infectious or contagious disease must produce a
doctor’s certificate permitting him/her to attend school. A student suffering from the following diseases
must observe the prescribed period of quarantine before returning to class.
- Chicken Pox-till complete falling of scabs.
- Cholera-till the child is completely well.
- Measles – 2 weeks after the rashes disappears.
- Mumps till the swelling has gone i.e. about 1 month.
- Whooping cough – 6 weeks.
- Conjunctivitis – 1 week
- No half days/short leaves will be granted to the students neither on regular days nor on assessment days.
Half a day leave will only be granted if the child is sick and on the recommendation of the doctor.
